Diagnosis of Heating , Ventilation and AirConditioning

چکیده
Faults in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems often go unde-tected because they are corrected by control loops at the expense of decreased ee-ciency. We present an experimental system which diagnoses faults based on measurements of system behavior and a model of its structure. It is based on model-based diagnosis techniques and could be used on-line to alert building managers so that costly faults can immediately be corrected.
